TODAY NW WINDS AROUND 5 KT...BECOMING SW THIS AFTERNOON. SEAS 3 TO 4 FT IN SE SWELL. ROUGH CONDITIONS AROUND INLETS AND JETTIES. TONIGHT SW WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. SEAS 5 TO 6 FT IN SE SWELL. THU SW WINDS 10 TO 15 KT. SEAS 7 TO 8 FT WITH A SE SWELL.

WATER TEMP: 68°— 70° A short sleeve fullsuit or a light 3/2mm fullsuit are now the call for the mornings, evenings, and grey day sessions. But when it's hot and sunny a long sleeve wetsuit top and some boardies are do-able as well...

NEXT CHANCE FOR SURF: We should start to see the first inklings of swell from Earl sometime tomorrow. There should be plenty of swell, maybe too much, starting Thursday and then raging on through the weekend. Winds will be heavy out of the W on Sat and Sun, but maybe you'll be able to find some place to go if you're creative enough... Plus, after Earl, there is Fiona and yet another depression that might be coming our way after that!?!
